why suprised? we won the first game in Zagreb too, 2:0.

when england team arrived here, they were held as stars, now when our boys came to london nobody was expecting them on the airport, our FA chief was taken to custody as a shoplifter, someone from the press wrote none of our boys could play in english team (LOL) and all in all the UK media was pretty arrogant from what i've heard.

well, there just wasnt better way to get motivated and shut those mouths. if joe simunic didnt cause that silly penal, it would probably end with 3:0 or more...

Hmmm, no disrespect to Croatian team which was solid thru whole quali, but I was just expecting bit more from England team. Really, I wouldnt expect they will loose 2:3 at home and will not make it to Euro.

Piss poor performance and rubbish seletions, tatics and formation from a manager which should never of been given the job in the first place.. We were lucky to even get back into the game soft penalty. Crouch is the only player who played well and maybe Beckham when he came on. That siad we were missing our entire best back 4 through injury and Owen and Rooney but we lost it over the 12 games and really it was the 0-0 draw at Macadonia that done us.

Never mind - a stress free summer next year..

we didnt dersrve to win the group or even get in to the euro's

ginger balls ****ed up big time !! he should of never played lampard !! the lads shit for england he did **** all all game him and gerrard dont team up togeather well at all and its been noticed for years !! also it was the worst game iv seen gerrard play he was shockin !! i expected better from his passing but he just tryed to run round like a headless chicken from time to time , barry was utter shit why i dont know he didnt pick hargreevs in the middle and beckham out wide from the start i dont know ! lampard aint fit enough to clean darren bents boots !! crouch played out his skin fair play to the lad he give it his all worked the line on his own and did his job but no one was there to support him for the knockdowns why pick carson in goal !! what went on in his head i dont know but that bloke should be shot for the way he has treated english football

The problem with Gerrard and Lampard they can only play Premiership football, high tempo kamakaze style. They both could need to go to Italy or Spain and learn how to play a slower more technical style game as that is closer to what International football is about. All Gerrard wanted to do the other night was lump the ball long, you just can do that at International level.

on recent performances alone, the man to drop would have been gerrard. but McClaren didn't have the balls to do it. ultimately the biggest error was building a team around a very average striker. crouch had a decent game, was prolly one of england's best players on the day. but we should have started with 4-4-2. dropped either gerrard or lampard and had bent and defoe up front.

the uk press is still in meltdown trying to think of which Man Utd player we can all blame for england's failure.

oh well, at least we'll have more players resting through the summer than anyone else in the top 4.
