You have to dance faster up north, for many reasons.

1. It`s so cold and grim you need to keep warm.
2. The scally pickpockets can`t keep up with you if you dance fast enough.
3. Higher bpms means each track is over faster, so all the northern piss heads have less time to wait for the next drink at the bar.
4. So much piss and puke on the floor you need to dance fast to stop sticking.
5. Most northerners are obviously criminals and used to running from the police, the faster music simply reflects this.
