I've honestly never heard anything like that. Electro/dubstep generally bores me, never keeps a rhythmn and is to sparse to hook me in.

There was too much of that at Bloc - sparse breaks stuff that made me feel tired/bored.

Thing I liked about the wee djs was that the beats fell in regular patterns. They provided a pretty consistent framework that all the mad atmospherics and synths were built around.

I like techno for the same reasons. You get into a rhythmn, forget about the rhythmn and focus on all the percussion and sounds surrounding the beat

Does all techno have to be four to the floor?
Is it electro by virtue of its off-beat drum programming?
