I use Beatport personally because I love the interface. The site is fast and easy to use. Their audio player which is embeded makes for fast purchases. Navigating between artist, labels and style is seamless and helps to find hidden gems. Unfortunately i don't really like the length of their mp3 samples.
I am starting with trackitdown.net as it was suggested in another thread. They seem to have better selection of hard techno and tribal tech.
Another thing that really annoys me with Beatport is that they have Hard Techno in a sub genre with Happy Hardcore....Sigh. It takes a really long time to go through the new releases to find hard tech.
screw beatport

Juno.
Buy my vinyl there also,so all in 1
Also kinda hate BP cuz they concentrate on mega comercial stuff mostly
there are lots of other aspects why BP stinks but we'll stick to their genre bias first.
I used to use beatport but got pissed off with the lack of support when ive had problems, also countless bullshit when searching for the music im in to ie when i search for new techno i end up listening to plicky plocky tap drip wale music?? emails being ignored where the icing on the cake for me!
Juno kicks beatports arse on all counts!!Customer support, zero bollocks when searching and you even get a back up cd with your tracks on Just incase for whatever reason the download fails AND YOU CANT GET ANY JOY RETRIEVING THEM!!!!!
I also buy vinyl so juno wins hands down for me....

Whatever floats your boat.
I think that if Juno invests into a better interface, like beatports, they can take over the market. I would have to agree with the fact that some of their tracks are placed in the wrong categories.
The interface is what sells me on Beatport hands down. The only thing it's missing is multiple crates of records.
beatport interface is aweful
Flash is just a no no.
That thing craps out loads

Works fine for me, has been for ages.
I guess I havent seen it on anything slower than a dual processor. Does it run slow on other pc's?
I think I've gotten maybe 2 erros in my entire experience. Never had it crap out on my fully.
And how is the interface of the Juno's site any better?
