This is a really good release imho..
They've done a 'Back To Tresor' thing recently that's blown my head off

Looks like Rodell went to DnB for a while and brought someone back with him.

Agreed, that is one of the better things I've heard in a long while :)

Tempted to buy a copy.
Makes me feel a bit better after pressing something overdriven myself, I've been questioning my track on our first vinyl as to whether I've caused a bit too much distortion.
Dean Rodell and Current Value (Tim)
Im remixing their 'Requiem' atm actually :)
The Mattias Fridell remix of "Miasma" on that EP is ace. Dark, heavy, clanking Techno![]()
Nice one Dean Rodell is back, really like his work

ah didnt know machine code were doing techno, though it was only techy dnb and dubstep :)
This is the only techno release I've been able to find by MC. Everything else is dubstep/dnb. Normally it would be kind of a shocker hearing virgin tek of this quality come from dnbers, but with Rodell on the team it's understandable.
Both Back to Tresor and Template are heavy on the distortion. Reminds me of early Planetary Assault Systems material.

Cheers. There's several bad happening behind that remix actually haha. We Call It Hard's distro actually uploaded wrong remix from me (I made more then 1) and before that the mastering of the total EP was kinda whacked for some reason so my remix is way down there compared to the originals that are pretty much too loud.
As mentioned before Dean never left he just made DnB and Dubstep similar tunes for a good while. I know for a fact he got more stuff coming, solo and as Machine Code and what I heard they're all pretty damn hard close to the Back to Tresor EP.

Still getting some visual stuff together to upload it to youtube, probably a good place to promote it :)
We pressed 300 of the buggers, so ideally need to sell half that to get the funds to press more. But with the state of the vinyl market I doubt we'll even hit half. At least I'm not in some dream world of thinking I'm going to make a profit, I'm just getting tracks on vinyl before there aren't any vinyl pressing companies left.
As I said I was going to do, finally :)
