Interpol are ****ing awful

now they are.

turn on the bright lights, their first, is a great album, though it's highly derivative of the bands i mentioned above.

Editors however are total class. They have a real depth and honesty to their music, they are still quite young and yet show a maturity beyond alot of their peers. "The Back Room" is one immense album and i cant wait for the new one, "Smokers outside the hospital doors" is a quality track

editors are also ok, but they are derivative too.

neither has anything on joy division or chameleons
