spent too much time appreciating local record shops run by friends, you mean?
Not many of those around any more, are there?
Juno is great, as I've said already, and they deserve their success. Does that mean I can't appreciate some of the quirky little shops, with individual characters and stock, that sometimes cling to life when they're not being squeezed out of the market?
Personally i think there are some things in life which aren't compatible with your sweeping free market ideals, but are worth savouring. Small local record shops being a prime example.
