Ignition Technician were formed in 1999 by Pete Simpson and Richard Wilkinson. With Wilko and Pete coming from Leeds, they were influenced by the music and up for it attitude found in northern England clubs such as the Orbit, Voodoo and Bugged Out.
Cari Lekebusch is a Stockholm-based sound architect alongsides other Swedish Techno profiles like Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Alexi Delano and Jesper Dahlbäck. He has borne many pseudonyms over the course of his illustrious career to date including Fred, Mr Barth, Braincell, Shape Changer, Vector, and The Mantis to name a select few.
Birmingham born Makaton has greatly contributed to the city's reputation of the industrial techno stronghold. Starting with 1999 Makaton's own label Rodz-Konez has been serving as the sole outlet for his one-of-the-kind sound apart from a couple of recent releases put out by Token and RSB.
Cristian has a massive worklist with more than 150 productions and compositions for Sony/BMG, Blanco & Negro (Spain), Intec (UK), Elephanthaus (USA), Pornographic (together with Marco Bailey) and his own brand new labels Donkeyhead Recordings and Black Codes. DAVE The Drummer aka Henry Cullen own his own label Hydraulix Recordings and has made and been involved in producing more tracks over the last 15 years than quite possibly any other techno producer out there.
Mark Williams is a veteran that has paid his dues over more than two decades on the scene as a DJ and producer. Since the 80s, when he started his career at UK hot spots like the Ministry of Sound and Final Frontier, he has been laying the groundwork for his future success. His production work has also gained him acclaim the world over and he has released a staggering catalogue of quality tracks on some of the most respected techno labels in the world including: Tortured, Dark House, Pure Plastic, Phont, Primate, and Carl Cox’s Ultimate Trax imprint, to name a few.
